Ashley Lewis (b. 2002) is an interdisciplinary artist from Burlington, Kentucky. Lewis is currently a BFA student at  Northern Kentucky University, focusing on drawing. Her process addresses societies’ role in the endangerment and extinction of species and the part humanity plays in the destruction of our earth. The use of porcelain in Lewis’ work mirrors our fragile ecosystem, a reminder of how our actions on this planet have led to the extinction of so many of its inhabitants.
